Brevard Public Schools has over 70,000 students, 9,000 employees, 86 traditional schools, and 14 charter schools.

Brevard Public Schools has earned an “A” grade within the Florida Department of Education Accountability Program. Dr. Rendell will share the progress of the school district under its current 5 Year Strategic Plan and provide detailed information about the unique programs offered to our students here on the Space Coast.

Mark Rendell currently serves as the Superintendent of Schools in Brevard County. Mark has been in education for over 30 years and has served as a classroom teacher, principal, district administrator, and superintendent. Mark and his wife Heidi have been married for 34 years and have 3 children. Nathaniel, Lucas, and Sarah Grace are all graduates of Florida public schools and universities.

Adam Dyer is a Florida native, a husband, and the proud father of four. He understands firsthand the importance of safe neighborhoods, strong schools, and a community that works for families.

Adam has served Brevard County as a firefighter for 19 years, dedicating his career to protecting lives and property on the Space Coast. In addition to his local service, he has spent the past 10 years serving in the United States Air Force Reserve, bringing discipline, leadership, and mission-focused decision-making to everything he does.

Adam currently serves as Deputy Mayor of Indian Harbour Beach and is an active leader in regional cooperation. He is a member of the Space Coast League of Cities and serves as a representative on the One Lagoon Council, working to protect and restore the Indian River Lagoon for future generations.

With a lifetime of service to Brevard County, Adam Dyer is committed to practical leadership, public safety, environmental stewardship, and putting Brevard families first.
