Last year, I attended a meeting I hadn’t attended in years. I was astonished to hear Canaveral Port Commissioner Fritz as he began to reveal what was happening behind closed doors. That moment alarmed me so much that I realized I had to do something. Everything else I was working on would have to wait.

In that instant, a battle between local citizens and a trillion-dollar corporation became my highest priority. What was being done in the shadows needed to be brought into the light—and I knew I had to help make that happen.

This was a true David-and-Goliath fight. But the Lord was in charge. And He knew exactly what He was doing.

I believe in standing up for truth and restoration. If I see it, I can't un-see it. I know when the Lord wants me to be a voice because the passion rises up inside of me to bring things to light, and as I take a step forward, doors open!
