Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning, like servants waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him. It will be good for those servants whose master finds them watching when he comes.
Luke 12: 35-37

April 2023 Truth Fest Theme:
Biblical Prepping
Balanced with Faith, Hope, and Charity
Hello Everyone,
Please take time to pre-register for our April Truth Fest, it makes things go much smoother as people arrive!
Notice that we have listed our May Workshops below! We have some very important skills and knowledge to acquire to help us prepare for service in our respective communities.
Previous Newsletter:
Growing with knowledge of the truth, preparing for what lies ahead, meeting like-minded people, and serving others are needed to build a stronger community. If we don't take care of ourselves, who will? Guess what? We must keep prepping!
"The biblical "prepper" trusts in God's goodness and sovereignty and doesn't succumb to being gripped by sinful fear or self-righteous anger. However, he also looks ahead with wisdom to provide for his family (1 Tim. 5:8) and, in a broader context, the household of faith (Gal. 6:10). (excerpt from Prepping in Biblical Perspective by Brian Cosby) The Truth Fest Team recommends this quick read!
This month's Truth Fest speakers deliver a boatload of much-needed information about crime prevention, your godly health, your state and local government, and servanthood. In addition, the classes we offer will develop your skills that could save your life and others. Don't miss out. Truth Fest is more than a Saturday night of scholarly entertainment. It's all about becoming better prepared.
Join us and keep those lamps filled with oil and trimmed!
See you soon!

Caron McCullough
April 2023 Monthly Legislative/Political Update
In 2019, Mrs. Caron McCullough became aware that her children’s religious exemptions for vaccines were under attack. The momma bear sought to become educated on medical freedom and political activism, and it is now her passion to share what she has learned.
Caron has assisted with many events for Florida Freedom Keepers, campaigned for freedom-minded candidates, and served as a Field Organizer and then Regional Election Integrity Director for the Republican Party, all while continuing to home-educate two of her boys and leading a class at their classical education co-op. Caron's greatest desire is for her children to grow up honoring Christ in a country that supports their freedom to do so.
Caron will be giving a short update each month on the 2023 Florida Legislative Session. This will include bills submitted, and their progress, as well as calls to action.
(She also sometimes does Family Friendly Movie Reviews!) |

Opal LaCentra, President of P2PC, INC
with special guest Tammy Plumley
Overcoming Autism & Resource Matters
| Opal LaCentra is married with four daughters. She has a Bachelor's in Behavioral Science (granted in 2018). Mrs. LaCentra trained and worked as a Behavioral Tech at Positive Behavioral Support, Space Coast Early Intervention Center, and Able Academy. She founded Parent 2 Parent Connect (P2PC) at Brevard's Early Intervention Center to provide resources to parents of children with special challenges in that school. Soon, she realized that the bigger need was in the community.
Mrs. LaCentra will introduce us to Tammy Plumley, a parent of an overcomer.
What do you do when your child is diagnosed with autism?? Cry? Get angry? Confused? Ask why?
All of the above. Our daughter Holly was diagnosed at two years old with autism, she is our youngest of 6 kids.
None of the other children had this diagnosis. Why Holly?
Her dad and I had many questions that no one could answer, so we began seeking answers and providing Holly with a happy, purposeful, and meaningful life!
She’s now 30 years old!
Despite her diagnosis, she’s happy and thriving. |
